Editorial method / Stock strategy testing

How this reference is made.

Sources, examples and commercial relationships should be easy to inspect.

Start with a task

This reference is organized around stock strategy testing. Each guide should resolve a practical question or define an assumption. The tool on the homepage is a bounded aid for that task; it is not a claim that an investment strategy has been tested or will make money.

Separate facts from judgments

Product descriptions are based on the original public sources linked on each page. Recommendations about workflow are editorial judgments. We do not present those judgments as measured market leadership, comparative performance or a complete survey.

Keep examples explicit

Ticker symbols, indicator windows, capital values and cost assumptions are examples rather than recommendations. Calculated outputs follow the labeled arithmetic or specification logic. No market data is fetched by these local tools, and no backtest results are fabricated.

Disclose the commercial relationship

Premiss publishes this website and receives traffic from its product links. When Premiss appears in a comparison, that relationship is stated. The five related domains are coordinated first-party resources, not independent reviews or third-party endorsements.

Maintain a useful record

Sources and product scope were reviewed on 8 November 2026. Corrections should identify the affected URL and statement. We update dates when a substantive review is performed, rather than automatically describing old material as newly researched.
